Search button, Use my location, Open now, and Sort by fields
These four types are available only in Search form designs. They do not use Search parameter or Comparison controls.
Search button
Choose Type → Search button, set Button label, optional icon and icon position, then set desktop/mobile width. Selecting it applies the values of mapped fields in that Search form.
“Use my location” button
Choose Type → “Use my location” button. Configure its button label, icon, position, and width. On the public locator it asks the browser for coordinates. It can exist without a Location text field, although providing both gives visitors a non-permission fallback.
Open now toggle
Choose Type → Open now toggle and set its visible label. It writes directly to the locator's openNow query state. Results are filtered using each Store's saved Opening Hours and timezone.
Do not map an ordinary Toggle to a made-up open_now custom field; use this dedicated type.
Sort by dropdown
Choose Type → Sort by dropdown and set its label. It writes directly to the locator sort state, including distance/name choices supplied by the renderer.
Distance sorting needs latitude and longitude. Before an origin exists, name sorting can work but a meaningful nearest-first order cannot.
Placement
All four fields use Width (of 12) and Mobile width (of 12) in Custom widths mode. A common compact row is Location width 6, Distance width 2, Sort width 2, and Search button width 2; use mobile width 12 to stack a field.
For three, four, five, or any other number of equally sized search controls, select their parent column and choose Items inside this column → Equal widths. Desktop Auto gives every current field the same share; set explicit Tablet and Mobile column counts when the row should wrap. See Create equal-width and Auto field rows.
