Category filter widget

The Category filter has three display modes: Chips, Dropdown, and Tiles.

Shared settings​

  • Label identifies the control.
  • “All” option label controls the reset option, default All Categories.
  • Display chooses Chips, Dropdown, or Tiles.

Chips​

Chips render all Categories as selectable buttons. The widget exposes Background, Text, Border, Hover background/text, Selected background/text, and Selected border colors.

Dropdown can enable Allow multiple selections. Multiple selected Categories are sent together and stores matching any selected Category are included.

Tiles​

Tiles require a saved Category tile design. Configure:

  • Tile design;
  • Min tile width from 60–520px;
  • Row fill: Auto-fill or Auto-fit;
  • Gap between tiles from 0–40px.

Tile mode filters a separate Store List widget in the same Layout. It is flat, single-select, and selecting the active tile again clears it.

This widget uses real Category IDs. Ensure Categories are attached to Stores or selection will correctly produce no matches.
