Map infobox Builder type

Create a Map infobox from Store Locator → Builder → New → Map infobox. It renders one Store record inside the popup opened after a visitor selects a marker.

Build the popup content

Use the same rows, columns, and Store fields available to Store Cards, but design for a small popup. A practical infobox may contain:

  • Store name;
  • compact address;
  • Open now state;
  • phone or details button;
  • optional distance after location is known.

Select different preview stores to test long names and missing values. Avoid a full weekly schedule or large gallery unless the chosen map/popup dimensions can support it.

Assign it to a Layout

  1. Open the Layout.
  2. Select its Map widget.
  3. Open the Markers panel.
  4. Select the design under Marker popup (infobox design).
  5. Save the Layout.

If — Default popup — is selected, the locator uses Settings → Defaults → Default map infobox. A Map-widget selection applies only to that Layout's Map instance.

Infobox versus HTML marker

The Map infobox is a popup and is normally hidden until marker selection. A Map marker design is the always-visible HTML card anchored at the coordinate when Marker type is HTML card. They are separate designs and can be used together.
