Store registration Builder type

Store registration forms are available after enabling Settings → Features → Enable store registration. They create Store records from public submissions.

Choose the creation status first​

Under Settings → Features → New store status, choose:

  • Pending review for administrator approval; or
  • Active (live immediately) to make successful submissions public.

Use Pending review unless submitters are trusted. Only Active stores appear in the public locator.

Build and map the form​

  1. Go to Builder → New → Store registration.
  2. Add a field for each value you accept.
  3. For every field, use the mapping selector to choose Store name, Description, Phone, Email, Website, City, Country, Address line 1/2, State/region, Postal code, Latitude, Longitude, or an available custom field.
  4. Give every field a stable Name/key and mark required fields.
  5. Configure submit label and success message on the form container.

A visible field left at — Not mapped — can be submitted but will not populate a Store column through the Store mapping pipeline.

Address and coordinates​

Collect structured address fields separately. If submitters do not provide trustworthy latitude/longitude, review and geocode the pending Store before activation. Do not ask ordinary visitors to invent coordinates.

Anti-spam and context​

Add a reCAPTCHA field after configuring Settings → Spam protection. Hidden fields can capture current URL, page title, referrer, and other supported browser context.

Set the default and embed​

Choose the saved design under Settings → Defaults → Default registration form. Embed with the registration Gutenberg block, Elementor form widget, or:
